Born and raised in Colombia, in our travels throughout other countries we came to notice that there was little known about our country abroad, including its vibrant culture composed of unique customs, creations, landscapes, and histories.
Having said this, we decided to undertake the project that has turned into COLOMBIART.CO, where our main goal is to allow the world to have contact to an endless list of artisanal creations, many of them considered cultural and artistic heritage hailing from across all over Colombia.
We travelled across Colombia´s various regions seeking to create direct relationships with the country´s artisans, learning the stories and traditions that have been passed from generation to generation.
In addition to presenting our country to the world through its handmade products, the unique techniques, materials, customs, and human beings that are a part of their creation, we are also dedicated to helping those same craftsmen that make these products. A percentage of our revenues obtained from the sales of these pieces goes to helping them with the particular needs that they may have.
We hope that upon entering our website you will experience not only a finished product, but also the story behind its creation and its maker, giving you a deeper understanding of our country, and even, in some way, a piece of Colombia.
