    There are a variety of cultural expressions that show Colombian idiosyncrasy and help preserve our history, culture and folklore.

    Among them you can find over 700 festivals and annual carnivals, some of which have been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO: the Barranquilla Carnival, the Carnival of Blacks and Whites in Pasto and the Easter procession in Popayán.

    Other outstanding activities of our calendar are the Manizales Fair, the Carnaval del Diablo of Riosucio and the Feria de las Flores of Medellín.
